Wow, I cant believe i've been here for over a month already!! Im lovin every minute of my time here so far.....well that is almost every minute. In case you forgot Im not just here living in South Africa, but im actually going to school(I actually forgot about that in the weeks leading up to my coming here lol). But with that said, everything socially and educationally are going well. Im taking 5 classes here; Public Theology, World History, Afrikaans, Sociology-Politics and Cultural Change in Contemporary South Africa and Political Science-Transitional Justice(pray 4 me yall). I just finished writing a paper for my history class I have due tomorrow(Friday) and am looking forward to relaxing this weekend. O yea, im also helping coach a basketball tem here in the township of Kayamandi. The team consists of boys ages 8 to 16 from the Kayamandi Primary and Secondary schools. Those who know me know my passion for sports so doin this is really exciting for me. Our first game is monday so hopefully we'll see some results haha. Last but not least, Big shout out to PVHS room 411!!! study hard yall, lookin forward to seein u guys again when im back.

First off I must say....HAPPY VALENTINES DAY everyone!! So its been a lil bit since I first spoke to you all on here, but im doing just fine. The following are pics from this weekend where on saturday I visited Strand beach and today(sunday) as a group, we visited Boulders Beach where the penguins are as well as The Cape of Good Hope which is the most southwestern point in all of Africa.
