Lets Talk About Sports

So lets talk about sports, beginning with the NBA Playoffs. Tonight the Miami Heat advanced to the Eastern Conference Finals led of course by Dwayne Wade and LeBron James. They now await the winner of the other Eastern Conference playoffs between my Chicago Bulls and Atlanta Hawks.

Blog Break

So im taking a quick break from my final which im writing about the impact of social media on current events. Its crazy to think how dependant we've become as a society on the internet. With this final due friday and everything else I have to do i wish I could add another day to the eek just to give me more time....But hey, this is what I signed up for when I came to college and it will all be worth it when I have that degree in my hand. But its time to get back to work, so until next time....PEACE!

22-chuckin up tha deuces

So this past monday, May 9th was my 22nd birthday. As it has been for the past three years, my birthday came right After goin to class and getting some work done I celebrated by having dinner with some family and friends at Acapulco as well as some drinks...I mean it was "Margarita Monday" after all. I must say though, I am truly blessed with the people I have in m y life as well as where I am in life being just about one semester away from earning a college degree.

Happy Mothers Day

Happy Mothers Day first and foremost. I love this time of year because not only do I get to celebrate my beautiful mother and all the mothers in the world but my birthday is also always around or even on mothers day. This year my birthday is the day after mothers day as I will be 22 years old tomorrow...SMH(shaking my head). Can hardly believe im that old already. Seems just like yesterday I was an 18 year old college freshman. Now im about to be 22 and on the verge of finishing my fourth year of college..Crazy how time flies.

Grind Time

This is the time of year I call grind time. With only two left in school, its time to grind it out n make sure i get all this work done. Part of my grind is making sure my presentation is ready for tomorrow morning. My partner and I have been critiquing the DARE website for our assignment and im confident our presentation will go well tomorrow.

Finally gettin outside today...Well to walk down to the Ball-Up game lol. Maybe see some celebrities down there, we'll see how it is.

I wish I could just snap my fingers and all my clothes could be folded. Just had to share that thought as im folding clothes right now. Really want to get outside since its such a nice day out today.

My Sharkies got the W today n a guud battle with Detroit. On another note, rapper Chiddy Bang set the record for longest freestyle by rapping for over 9 hours straight!!!

Its a beautiful sunday down in Northridge. My San Jose Sharkies are playin today n tomorrow my Bulls open bulls open their series against the Hawks. Gotta stay focused n get this work done even wit all these games goin on.

So once again my Chicago Bulls have fallen behind in the first half to the Indiana Pacers. Im still confident though that we will comeback this second half. Lets see if we come out with a different mindset this half

Today were beginning class at 9am instead which I must say is a BIG difference compared to being down here by 8am. Of coursse im still tired but not nearly as tired as I usually do on fridays. Hopefully today is a productive day day and im able to learn something new and meaningful.

The home stretch:1 year later

This time last year I was preparing for my final exams at Stellenbosch University. This time around im not much has changed. Finals are less than a month away and as we come down the stretch, I find myself wishing I had more hours in the day to accomplish the things that i need and want.
